Overview:

Phakisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dependable and experienced Code 10 Driver for a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Epping, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for running errands, transporting staff and goods, and ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained and used in compliance with company and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Safely transport company staff, products, and materials to and from designated locations

-Assist with the loading and offloading of goods and staff luggage

-Adjust travel routes to avoid delays caused by traffic or road conditions

-Adhere to road and traffic regulations and promptly report any fines or violations

-Maintain accurate time logs for vehicle use and trips completed

-Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle damage to management

-Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, serviced, and maintained regularly

-Perform daily handovers and vehicle inspection checklists between shifts

-Report vehicle defects or concerns immediately

-Assist the Shift Supervisor, Community Liaison Officer, or Site Admin Clerk with basic administrative tasks when required

Minimum Requirements:

-Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

-Previous experience in a similar driving role is advantageous

-Basic administrative skills and computer literacy

-Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices

-Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude

-Ability to work independently and follow instructions
