Position 1: Administrative Officer (Level 7) – SASSA Mount Frere Local Office

  • Location: Mount Frere, Eastern Cape

Overview

SASSA is seeking a qualified and experienced Administrative Officer to support transport, HR, provisioning, general admin, and asset management services at its Mount Frere Local Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee support services including HR administration and provisioning.
  • Manage general administrative and asset management functions.
  • Supervise subordinates and ensure PFMA compliance.

Requirements

  • Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) and NQF Level 6 qualification recognised by SAQA.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Valid driver’s license (added advantage).

  • Screen and capture grant applications.
  • Provide customer care services.
  • Process and quality control grant documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with PFMA standards.
