Overview
PepsiCo South Africa is seeking experienced and committed Long Haul Drivers to join its Worcester Bakery team. As part of one of the world’s leading food and beverage companies, you will play a critical role in safely and efficiently delivering our trusted products across the region, supporting our mission to create more smiles with every sip and every bite.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products to customers and IDC depots.
- Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record with zero speed or traffic-related fines.
- Conduct initial fault finding on vehicle breakdowns, including basic tasks such as tyre changes.
- Report vehicle defects promptly and accurately.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of assigned vehicles, adhering to good driving practices at all times.
- Inspect vehicle tyres thoroughly before every trip.
- Maintain agreed fuel consumption standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Code 14 Driver’s License with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- At least 2 years of proven long-haul driving experience.
- Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate.
- Strong commitment to road safety, professionalism, and customer service.
